I like to procrastinate. Do you? Alrighty then. Curious as to why I have continually failed to complete certain tasks, honest self-reflection brought me to a startling realization: I am afraid to fail. But really the problem is deeper than that. I have long kept an insidious secret, harboring a well concealed fear of rejection in the darkest corners of my heart. Having uncovered this disturbing bit of reality, I’ve put together a plan to obliterate the beast.
If you’re curious about the details, I’ve posted the video on Facebook (which is probably why you’re here). Beyond that, I wanted this brief post to provide a spark of hope that I will actually utilize this blog. My intent is to promote positive, practical principles a whole lot more frequently. And so, as a part of my 40 Days of Focus campaign, I will be producing a series of podcasts, starting tomorrow. Don’t believe me? You’ll just have to take my word for it… or find me on Facebook… either way, the good stuff is coming, I promise.
It’s lights out for tonight.
